Samsa Puff with Potatoes

What could be better than serving a freshly baked puff pastry with potatoes with a cup of tea or coffee for breakfast? See how to make puff pastry samsa with potatoes at home.

Servings: 15

Ingredients

  • Wheat flour – 3 Glasses
  • Water – 1 Glass
  • Salt – 2 Teaspoons
  • Potatoes – 6 Pieces
  • Onions – 4 Pieces
  • Egg – 1 Piece
  • Ground pepper – To taste
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp

Directions

  1. Knead a simple dough with flour and water and salt. Roll it into a ball, wrap it in a napkin and let it stand for 15 minutes. Then roll out the dough very thinly into a large layer. Lubricate the entire surface with oil, roll it into a roll. Roll the roll thinly and repeat the whole algorithm three times.
  2. Chop the boiled potatoes and onions finely, season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Roll out the cakes, put the filling, arrange in the form of a triangle, close the edges.
  4. Brush with beaten egg on top and bake for 30-35 minutes at 200 degrees. Readiness is determined by the golden brown crust.
