Sausage Casserole with Tomatoes and Beans

Recipe for cooking sausage casserole with tomatoes, beans, onions, herbs and cheese baked in the oven

Finely chop the onion and garlic. Chop the pork sausages into 4 cm slices. Cut the potatoes into slices. Strain the canned beans.
Add 3 tablespoon. butter in a skillet. Heat over medium heat. Add the onions and fry until golden brown, stirring frequently. It will take 15 minutes. Remove the onion, add 2 tablespoon. butter, add the chopped sausages and fry for about 8 minutes, stirring frequently, until they are well browned.
Preheat oven to 190 degrees. Place sausages, fried onions, beans, canned tomatoes, herbs, salt and pepper in a fireproof dish and stir with a fork. Top with the chopped potatoes so that they cover the rest of the mixture. Place in preheated oven for 55 minutes.
When the dish is cooked, remove it from the oven, grate the cheese and place on the grill until the cheese is browned, about 4 minutes.
