Ingredients

  • 3 onion (s)
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • 1 tablespoon oil, (for frying)
  • 1 leek (or 2 small sticks)
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, noble sweet
  • 4 slice / s bread (s), (mixed bread)
  • 4 teaspoons mustard, medium hot or hot
  • 8 slices ham, raw, Kat ham e.g., (or 4 large )
  • 80 g cheese, e.., Emmentaler

Instructions

  1. Cut the onions into half or whole rings. Finely chop the garlic. Fry both in the oil. Also cut the leek into rings and add. Lightly brown everything and then season.
  2. Brush the bread with mustard, spread the ham on top, spread the warm onion mixture on top. Grate the cheese, sprinkle over it and, if necessary, grill it over briefly until it melts. But also tastes delicious without cheese!
  3. Variation:
  4. Instead of leek you can also use 1 bunch of spring onions.
  5. Instead of grating the cheese, you can cut it into strips.
  6. The ham can be left out without any problems - then the snack is vegetarian and still tasty.
