Ingredients

  • 400 g shrimp (s), frozen
  • 100 g chorizo or spicy salami
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • 2 bell peppers, red and green
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 250 g rice (paella or risotto rice)
  • 600 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • possibly thyme
  • possibly rosemary

Instructions

  1. Thaw the prawns, wash and pat dry. Cut the chorizo into slices. Clean the onion and garlic, then dice finely. Clean, wash and cut the peppers into strips.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the prawns with the bell pepper, then season with salt and remove. Fry the onion, garlic and chorizo in the frying oil, add the rice and sweat with it. Pour in the broth, bring to the boil and cook for about 20 minutes.
  3. Add the prawns and peppers, stir and cook covered for another 10 minutes. Finally, season everything with salt, pepper and curry powder and if you like, you can also add rosemary and thyme.
