Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g suar
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 125 g cornstarch
  • 125 g flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 150 g hazelnuts, round
  • 100 g chocolate, rouhly chopped

For painting:

  • 5 tablespoon whiskey
  • 2 teaspoon coffee powder, instant
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar

For the cast:

  • 200 g cake icin (chocolate)
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Beat the butter and sugar until frothy. Mix in the eggs well one at a time. Mix the cornstarch, flour, baking powder and cocoa powder and fold into the mixture. Finally add the hazelnuts and chocolate to the batter. Pour the batter into a greased springform pan.
  2. Bake in a preheated oven at 175 ° C top / bottom heat for approx. 50-60 minutes (make a stick test!).
  3. Then prick the hot cake with a wooden stick close together. Make a mixture of whiskey, coffee powder, vanilla sugar and powdered sugar and drizzle over it. Let the cake cool down. Finally, melt the chocolate icing with it and cover the cake with it.
