Ingredients

  • 500 ml milk
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 5 g butter
  • 25 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 45 g durum wheat semolina
  • some tonka bean (s), grated
  • 1 egg (s), separated

Instructions

  1. Bring the milk to the boil with salt, butter, sugar and vanilla sugar. Remove from the hob and stir in the semolina. Place back on the oven plate. Reduce the temperature and then let it swell for 10 minutes while stirring.
  2. Remove from the hotplate again and let cool down for about 10 minutes. Stir it again and again. Then stir in the egg yolks and the grated tonka bean.
  3. Beat the egg white until stiff and fold into the semolina dessert. Fill into 6 portion glasses and refrigerate until serving.
  4. Serve with fruit or compote of your choice.
