Ingredients

  • 750 g Cabanossi
  • 6 onion (s)
  • 3 cans corn, (425 g each)
  • 1 can tomato (s), peeled, (850 ml)
  • 0.5 liter ½ broth, clear
  • 4 cans beans (baked beans), in tomato sauce, (25 g each)
  • 2 cans kidney beans, (45 g each)
  • salt
  • 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper or sambal oil
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 can tomato paste, (70 g each)
  • 1 clove garlic

Instructions

  1. Cut the sausage into slices. Peel and dice the onions. Drain the corn and chop the tomatoes. Heat the oil in a large saucepan and fry the sausage slices in it, remove and set aside. Sweat the onions and garlic in the frying fat, add the tomato paste and deglaze with the clear broth. Add the tomatoes with the juice, the drained corn, the baked beans with the tomato sauce and the kidney beans rinsed and drained with clear water and season to taste with salt and cayenne pepper or sambal oelek.
