Ingredients

  • 1 slice sheep`s cheese
  • 4 garlic clove (s)
  • 2 hot peppers
  • 1 cherry tomato (s) or small tomato
  • 10 sprigs thyme
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 4 tablespoon olive oil
  • Oregano, dried
  • Thyme, dried
  • Pepper, black
  • Chilli, crushed, dried
  • Marjoram, dried

Instructions

  1. Line a small bowl with aluminum foil. Place the sheep`s cheese in the middle, around it put the peppers, garlic cloves and sprigs of thyme. Halve the tomato and place on top. Put the rosemary sprig on top as well.
  2. For the marinade, mix the olive oil with chilli, pepper, oregano, thyme and marjoram. Pour the marinade over the sheep cheese. Wrap in the aluminum foil and marinate for a few hours - if you like, overnight.
  3. Gratinate the sheep`s cheese in a preheated oven at 160 ° C or on the grill in summer for about 30 minutes, leaving the foil a little open.
  4. For the calorie-conscious: After cooking, pierce the aluminum foil at the bottom and let the oil run off (but it would be a shame).
  5. Incidentally, the following applies to the spices: the main thing is Mediterranean or what the garden has to offer.
