  • 1 point puff pastry from the refrigerated shelf
  • 2 large apples
  • 125 g jam, red (e.. cherry)
  • 50 g flaked almonds
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ cinnamon
  • milk to brush on

Instructions

  1. Peel, cut into eighths, core and cut the apples into small pieces. Carefully roast the flaked almonds in a pan over medium heat without fat. Mix the apples, almonds, jam and cinnamon in a bowl.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and put the apple mixture in the center. Distribute it so that you can flip it over as a large bag and press it shut. Close the edges well and prick the strudel several times with a fork. Brush with milk and bake in the oven preheated to 200 ° C for 20 minutes.
  3. Let cool down briefly, cut into six pieces. Serve hot, lukewarm or cold. Vanilla ice cream goes well with it.
