Simple Chocolate Cake (Multicooker)

A very simple, airy, delicate, slightly moist and incredibly delicious chocolate cake can be prepared in a slow cooker. A chocolate cake is prepared from a small amount of products, but, surprisingly, it turns out to be very lush and tall.

Ingredients

  • Flour – 250 g
  • Cocoa powder – 55 g
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Vanilla extract – 2 teaspoon
  • Sugar – 300 g
  • Soda (do not replace anything) – 1.5 teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Butter (soft) – 60 g
  • Olive oil – 60 g
  • Milk – 280 g
  • Wine vinegar (no more than 6%) – 1 tbsp
  • For fondant:
  • Cocoa powder – 100 g
  • Milk – from 100 ml
  • Sugar – 35-50 g
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Butter – 1 dec. the spoon
  • Cognac (or rum) – 1 tbsp

Directions

  1. Sift through a sieve all the dry ingredients for the dough: flour, sugar, cocoa, salt and word.
  2. Drive in 2 eggs, add butter and vegetable oil. Pour in 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract (if you cannot find the extract, nothing needs to be added).
  3. Pour in milk.
  4. Beat with a mixer for 4-5 minutes, gradually increasing the speed. Then pour in the vinegar and stir for a few seconds (the vinegar will immediately react with the soda and bubbles will appear).
  5. Grease the multicooker bowl with oil and pour the dough into it. We bake a chocolate cake in a slow cooker, turning on the “Baking” mode, for 1 hour. After the beep, leave the cake in a closed multicooker for another 15 minutes.
  6. Now let’s make a chocolate fondant. To do this, we put heat-resistant dishes on medium heat, mix cocoa with sugar, a pinch of salt and, stirring constantly, gradually introduce milk (the amount of milk can vary, since cocoa is different).
  7. Stirring constantly, cook the fondant until the chocolate is brewed and the mass becomes more glossy.
  8. Add butter and brandy (or rum) if desired. Stir until the oil is completely dissolved.
    (You can just melt the icing chocolate, it will be faster.)
  9. Chocolate cake in a slow cooker is ready (diameter – 20 cm, height – almost 7 cm).
  10. We remove it from the bowl.
  11. Pour with slightly cooled chocolate icing (fondant).
  12. We decorate the chocolate cake at our discretion (I decorated with frozen raspberries).
  13. A simple chocolate cake (in a slow cooker) is ready.
    Let it cool and cut.
