  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 ½ teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 cup rice
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 2 cup water
  • 1 small onion (s)

Instructions

  1. Peel and quarter the onion. Melt the butter in a saucepan, sprinkle with rice and curry, add the onion quarters and roast everything briefly. Pour the water on, add the salt, cover the rice and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the rice has absorbed all the water, turn off the stove and leave the rice covered for another 10 minutes.
  2. Cooking times may vary depending on the type of rice used. Possibly remove the onion before serving.
