Smoked Chicken Salad with Canned Beans and Pickled Onions

All housewives love recipes for delicious, hearty and quick salads. This salad of canned beans and smoked chicken cooks in 10 minutes, because it doesn’t need to be cooked or baked. This salad is ideal when guests are on the doorstep.

Servings: 5

Ingredients

  • Smoked chicken (leg) – 450 g
  • Canned beans – 1 can of 400 g (net weight of beans – 240 g)
  • Onions – 120 g (2 pcs.)
  • Green onions – 20 g
  • Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

For the marinade:

  • Vinegar 9% – 2 tbsp
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Water (boiling water) – 100 ml

Directions

  1. Prepare all ingredients. Peel the onions. Drain the canned beans.
  2. Cut the onions into small cubes.
  3. Add sugar, salt, vinegar to a bowl of chopped onions and add boiling water. Stir and marinate for 10 minutes.
  4. Separate the smoked chicken from the bones, remove the cartilage and skin. Cut the chicken into cubes.
  5. Drain the marinade in which the onions were pickled.
  6. Finely chop the dill and green onions. Set aside some chopped dill to garnish the finished salad.
  7. Combine smoked chicken, pickled onions and herbs in a deep bowl. Add canned beans.
  8. Add salt to the salad to your liking. You may not need salt, because the beans and legs are already salted. Add mayonnaise.
  9. Stir the salad. Before serving, it can be additionally chilled in the refrigerator for 20-25 minutes.
  10. Transfer the smoked chicken salad, canned beans, and pickled onions to a salad bowl. Garnish with dill herbs.
  11. The salad turned out to be hearty, moderately spicy, tasty and original.
  12. This salad can be prepared both on weekdays and on holidays. Especially men like this salad, it is checked!
