- 1 kg boiled potatoes
- 4 egg (s)
- 5 roll (s), finely sliced
- 1 pinch (s) nutmeg
- some clarified butter

- Press the boiled potatoes through while hot and mix with the eggs and finely sliced rolls. Mix with salt, knead the mixture well and form approx. 8 dumplings out of it. Press the snowball dumplings a little flat and use the wooden spoon handle to make a hole in the top of each dumpling.
- Then place the dumplings in a bowl that has been well greased with clarified butter and bake in the oven over a good heat (approx. 220 ° C, top / bottom heat) for about 30 minutes. Brush the dumplings from above with clarified butter from time to time.
