Ingredients
- 4 egg whites
- 1 vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch (s) salt
- 120 g suar
- 750 ml milk
- 1 vanilla pod (s)
- 4 egg yolks

- Beat the egg white, salt, vanilla sugar and gradually 50 g sugar until the sugar has dissolved. Beat the egg yolks with the remaining sugar until frothy.
- During this time, bring the milk with the cut vanilla pod to a simmer in a saucepan, switch off the stove or pull the saucepan off the plate. Stir the egg yolk foam into the milk until a foamy sauce is formed.
- Form knobs / snowballs with a spoon from the egg white mixture, place in the saucepan with the vanilla sauce and cover and let stand until cooked.
- The sauce with the snowballs can be enjoyed cold or warm. This goes well with fruits, fruit pulp.
