Spanish Paella with Seafood and Chicken

Paella is a Spanish rice dish that, in addition to the main ingredient, can contain seafood, vegetables and chicken fillets. Spanish paella is being prepared in a pan.

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • Rice – 100 g
  • Shrimps – 5 pcs.
  • Mussels – 11 pcs.
  • Squid – 50 g
  • Chicken fillet – 1 pc.
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • White wine – 150 ml
  • Vegetable oil – 30 ml
  • Water – 300 ml
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Garlic to taste
  • Fresh basil – to taste

Directions

  1. Peel, wash and dice the onion.
  2. Cut the chicken fillet into large cubes.
  3. Fry the onions in vegetable oil until golden brown (heat – slightly above medium).
  4. Pour in wine.
  5. When all the alcohol has evaporated, add all the seafood and chicken fillet. Fry over high heat for 5 minutes to open up the mussel shell.
  6. After that, put all the seafood and fillets on a plate.
  7. Add rice to the pan and cover with water. Cook the rice for 22 minutes.
  8. Then add all the prepared seafood.
  9. Season with salt and pepper, add chopped basil and garlic. Stir and the Spanish Seafood Chicken Paella is done!
  10. Serve the Spanish Paella with Seafood and Hot Chicken.
