Ingredients

  • 600 g spinach leaves, frozen
  • 2 onion (s), finely diced
  • 30 g butter
  • 300 g ham, cooked
  • 200 g cheese (Emmentaler), coarsely rated
  • Salt and pepper, ground
  • Nutmeg, grated

Instructions

  1. Steam the onions in the butter until translucent. Add the spinach with 4 tablespoons of water and cover and defrost over medium heat.
  2. Season the spinach with salt, pepper and a little grated nutmeg and pour into a buttered tin.
  3. Cut the ham into small cubes and spread over the spinach.
  4. Sprinkle the Emmentaler cheese over the ham and bake in the oven at 200 degrees on the middle rack for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
