- 4 rice cakes
- 4 slices butter cheese
- 4 slices cooked ham
- 2 shallot (s)
- 4 gherkins
- salt and pepper
- Chilli flakes
- Paprika powder
- 4 medium egg (s)
- some butter

- Using a rice waffle as a template, cut out four round slices of butter cheese and four round slices of cooked ham. Cut the shallots into slices and fry them in a pan with a little butter until golden brown, remove and keep warm.
- Cover each of the rice cakes with a slice of butter cheese and bake in the same pan with a lid until the cheese has melted. Place a slice of boiled ham on each cheese and spread some of the shallots on top. Take the waffles out of the pan.
- Melt approx. 40 g butter in the pan, place four dessert rings in the pan and beat an egg in each ring. Season the eggs and use a spoon to drizzle the hot butter over and over again until a clearly white skin (mirror) has formed over the yolk. Remove the fried eggs from the dessert rings with a knife and place on the rice waffles. Decorate with the gherkins and the remaining shallots.
