Ingredients

  • 1 kg potato (s)
  • Salami (pepper salami)
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 1 teaspoon butter, soft
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Thyme, fresh or dried
  • 200 g cheese (Gruyère or alternatively Emmentaler)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup cream
  • nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Cook the potatoes with the caraway seeds as jacket potatoes and cut into slices. Butter an ovenproof dish, sprinkle with finely chopped onion, garlic and thyme. Layer half of the potatoes in the pan, sprinkle with 3/4 of the cheese. Spread the rest of the potatoes and the salami on top, sprinkle with the rest of the cheese. Mix the sweet and sour cream, salt, nutmeg and pepper into a sauce and pour over the casserole. Baked in the oven at 200 ° C for about 30 minutes.
  2. There is also a fresh mixed salad.
