Tarator

On a hot sunny day, what could be better than a cold sour milk tarator with finely chopped cucumbers, herbs, crushed nuts, and a couple of cloves of garlic, which will complement this perfect taste.

Ingredients

  • Cucumbers – 500 g
  • Sour milk – 900 ml
  • Garlic – 4 g
  • Parsley – 5 g
  • Dill – 10 g
  • Ground walnuts – 30 g (3 tablespoon. L.)
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon.
  • Water – 400 ml
  • Ice cubes – 5 pcs.

How to make a tarator:

Directions

  1. Peel the cucumbers and cut them into small cubes.
  2. Finely chop the dill and parsley, chop the garlic.
  3. Add salt, pepper, garlic, herbs to a bowl with curdled milk.
  4. Grind the walnuts in a blender. Add 3 tablespoon. tablespoons of walnuts and mix.
  5. Add water with ice cubes and mix thoroughly.
  6. Put 4-5 tablespoons on a serving plate. tablespoons of chopped cucumbers and pour prepared yogurt.
  7. Sprinkle with grated nuts on top and garnish with cucumber or herbs. The tarator is ready.
