  • 500 g douh, (yeast douh, enouh for 1-2 trays, dependin on the thickness the base)
  • 300 g bacon (pork belly), cut into strips
  • 2 onions)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 200 g sour cream or creme fraiche (double the amount for 2 trays)
  • 1 bunch chives

Instructions

  1. Prepare the yeast dough according to the basic recipe, but it should be rolled out as thinly as possible. Preheat the oven to approx. 200 ° C for a fan.
  2. Put the sour cream or creme fraiche in a bowl, squeeze 1 clove of garlic, cut the chives into fine rolls, season with salt and pepper. Distribute the amount on the yeast dough. Then sprinkle fine strips of bacon on top, cut the onions into rings and spread them on top as well. Since the bacon is quite salty, no more seasoning it with salt. But pepper could still be sprinkled on it. Then put in the oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes.
  3. The yeast dough is also very suitable for freezing. So if you only make 1 tray and freeze the rest of the dough, it`ll be faster next time! I often made the recipe as an appetizer when visiting or served it as a main course with a delicious lamb`s lettuce. Have fun cooking at home.
