Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken breast fillet (s), cut into small pieces

For the marinade:

  • 5 tablespoon sunflower oil or peanut oil
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 teaspoons, heaped with curry powder, mild or spicy
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon, heaped coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder, possibly more if necessary
  • 2 cm ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 6 teaspoon soy sauce, light
  • 1 stalk / e lemongrass, finely chopped
  • 1 dash fish sauce
  • 1 half lime (s), juice it
  • 3 tablespoon cane sugar
  • 1 bunch coriander, fresh, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients for the marinade in a bowl and season to taste. Put the meat in the bowl and mix with the marinade, ideally let it rest overnight in the refrigerator.
  2. Then stick the chicken on skewers and roast on all sides on the charcoal or gas grill, turning several times, for about 10 minutes.
  3. A homemade peanut sauce goes best with it.
