Tilapia and Cabbage Sandwich

Grilled tilapia and cabbage salad served on a crispy toast with barbecue sauce.

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Tilapia, boneless fillet – 4 pcs.
  • Cabbage (shredded) – 1.5 cups
  • Carrots (chopped on a grater) – 0.5 cups
  • Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice – 2 teaspoon
  • Whole grain bread (toasted) – 4 slices
  • BBQ sauce – 2 tbsp

Directions

  1. Rinse the fillets and dry with a paper towel. Grease the fillets on all sides with vegetable oil.
  2. Switch on the grill to preheat to medium temperature. Place the fillets on the grill and cook until tender, about 4-6 minutes on each side.
  3. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise with lemon juice, put cabbage and carrots in this dressing, mix well.
  4. Put the salad on the croutons, top with the fried fish, and drizzle with the barbecue sauce.
