Tobacco Chicken in The Oven

Tobacco chicken (tapaca) is a simple and spectacular dish that will make any meal perfect. Juicy, with a golden crust, the chicken itself is the decoration of the table. The tobacco chicken can be cooked in the oven, but first, you fry it in the pan, under the cargo. If you add a little side dish, you’ll have dinner to please any gourmet.

Ingredients

  • Chicken – 650 g
  • Vegetable oil – 1-1.5 st. spoons
  • Lettuce leaves – 3-5 pc.

For the marinade:

  • Vegetable oil – 4. spoons
  • Lemon juice – 2 h. spoon
  • Salt – 1 h. Spoon
  • Vinegar dried herbs – 1 h. spoon
  • Ground paprika – 2 h. spoon

Directions

  1. Prep the product list.
  2. Rinse and dry the chicken. Cut the chicken in the middle of the breast in half and unwrap it.
  3. Skin the chicken carcass upwards and carefully bleach to level as much as possible.
    In order not to damage the skin, instead of a kitchen hammer, I use a heavy roller that I push several times over the carcass.
  4. In a separate container, mix the components of the marinade: vegetable oil, lemon juice, salt, a mixture of dried herbs, paprika, coriander, and red pepper.
  5. Oil the chicken with marinade and leave it at room temperature for 60 minutes.
    For longer pickling, place the chicken in the refrigerator with food film.
  6. On average or slightly above the average fire, warm the pan (best to use an anti-depressant or simply well-coated) and lubricate the vegetable oil (1 st. spoon).
    Put the chicken skin up in the pan.
    Set the noose (I use a flat plate and a granite mortar) and roast the chicken for five minutes, until it’s clear.
  7. Then turn the chicken over to the bottom of the skin, set the nest, and fry it for another five minutes.
  8. Lubricate pan for cooking with a thin layer of vegetable oil (0.5 st. spoon).
    Put the chicken on the pan, if possible install a light noodle (I used a ceramic mold for baking) and put it in the oven, heated to 200-210 C.
  9. Bake the tobacco chicken in the oven for 25-30 minutes until ready.
