Ingredients

  • 1 kg goulash, mixed
  • 3 medium onion (s)
  • 8 large tomato (s)
  • 3 tablespoon oil
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ sugar
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoon sauce thickener, light
  • some thyme
  • salt and pepper
  • 800 ml water
  • Paprika powder, noble sweet

Instructions

  1. Wash the meat and pat dry. Peel and roughly dice the onions. Wash and pluck the thyme. Wash the tomatoes and cut into quarters.
  2. Heat the oil and fry the meat vigorously in portions. Then add onions, tomatoes and thyme to the entire meat and fry briefly. Stir the tomato paste into the goulash and sauté briefly. Season with salt, pepper, sugar and paprika powder. Now pour in 800 ml of water and bring to the boil. Stir in the vegetable stock. Then simmer everything covered over a medium heat for about 1 to 1 1/4 hours.
  3. Bring to the boil again and stir in the sauce binder, then season again as required.
  4. Noodles also taste good.
