Unusual Semolina

The uniqueness of this dish lies in the fact that the usual, boring and little-loved semolina porridge contains delicious and unusual additives that give this porridge a chance to become a family favorite at breakfast. Try it!
Ingredients
- Semolina – 20 g
- Green apple – 1 pc.
- Ground cinnamon – 0.5-1 teaspoon.
- Sea buckthorn – 20 g
- Sugar – 2 teaspoon for porridge and 1 teaspoon. for sauce
- Water – 50 ml
- Milk – 150 ml
- Almonds – 4 pcs.
- Salt – a pinch
How to cook unusual semolina porridge:
Directions
- Let the water boil and add semolina.
- Stir with a whisk, pour in milk, add salt and sugar. We reduce the heat and cook the milk semolina until tender (you can add butter if you wish).
- Peel the apple from seeds and cut it into small cubes.
- We start blanching the apple. To do this, boil a small amount of water, throw apple cubes into it and cook for no more than 30 seconds. Then we take out the apple pieces and immediately put them in ice water to stop the cooking process. We throw it back in a colander so that the glass has excess water.
- Add apples and cinnamon to the semolina porridge.
- Cooking sea buckthorn sauce. Beat the berries with sugar in a blender and rub through a sieve to get rid of the seeds.
- Pour the semolina porridge with apple and cinnamon with the prepared sea buckthorn sauce. Decorate with finely chopped almonds.
