Ingredients

  • 1 onion (s)
  • 350 g mushrooms, fresh
  • 40 g butter
  • 2 tablespoon crème fraîche
  • 1 tablespoon white wine
  • 4 turkey schnitzel, chicken or pork schnitzel, thin
  • Butter for the mold
  • salt and pepper
  • 160 g cheese (Gouda)
  • 2 tomato (s)

Instructions

  1. Peel the onion and chop finely. Clean and wash the mushrooms and cut into fine leaves.
  2. Sauté the onion in half of the butter until soft, add the mushrooms and fry until the liquid has evaporated. Briefly simmer the crème fraiche and white wine.
  3. Knock the turkey schnitzel flat and pepper all over. Fry in the remaining butter for 2 minutes on each side. Then season with salt and place side by side in a buttered baking dish.
  4. Season the mushroom mixture with salt and pepper and pour onto the schnitzel. Scatter freshly grated cheese on top. Place tomato slices on top, season with salt and pepper. Bake in the oven at 180 ° C for 10 minutes until the cheese has melted.
  5. The schnitzels taste good with green ribbon noodles, rosemary potatoes or potato gratin.
