Ingredients

  • 90 g soy ranules
  • 100 g reen spelled meal
  • 0.5 liter ½ vegetable stock
  • some oil, for frying (possibly chili oil)
  • 1 red pepper (s)
  • 1 medium zucchini
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 1 small Can (s) tomatoes, peeled
  • 2 small Can (s) kidney beans
  • 1 small Can corn
  • 5 small chilli pepper (s), red
  • 1 packet tomatoes, happened
  • 2 tablespoon sea salt, fine
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 1 pinch (s) cayenne pepper
  • 1 pinch (s) paprika powder, hot pink
  • 1 pinch (s) sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt (tomato salt)
  • some tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoon basil, dried
  • Chili powder

Instructions

  1. Soak the soy granulate and green spelled grist each in the boiled vegetable stock and allow to swell for approx. 20 minutes. Dice the onions, cut the peppers and zucchini into oblique strips, finely chop the chillies, take the peeled tomatoes out of the tin with a fork and cut into small pieces. Now heat the oil in a large pan or saucepan and fry the onions until translucent. Add the zucchini and paprika and sauté for about 5 minutes, then add the drained soy granulate and green spelled grist and stir-fry for about 5 -6 minutes. Add the chopped tomatoes, the juice from the can, tomatoes and chillies. Then drain the kidney beans and possibly the corn and also add to the pan. I write possibly corn because unfortunately I didn`t have one on hand. But think that it actually belongs there. Bring everything to the boil and season with the spices, herbs, sugar and tomato paste. Bring to the boil again, season again to taste. I serve this chili with toasted bread. For this I cut some bread slices diagonally in the middle, brush them with margarine, sprinkle them with various herbs and spices and salt. Roast the slices at about 180 ° C for about 5 - 8 minutes.
