Ingredients

  • 4 thin pork schnitzel
  • 1 bag breadcrumbs, seasoned
  • 500 g broccoli
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup sweet cream
  • 1 bag cheese, grated, (e.g. Emmentaler or Gouda)
  • 3 tablespoon red wine or white wine
  • Broth, grains
  • Salt and pepper, black
  • Sweet paprika

Instructions

  1. Bread and fry the schnitzel and place in a baking dish.
  2. Boil the broccoli in salted water until al dente, drain well and spread over the schnitzel.
  3. In a small saucepan, heat the sweet cream, sour cream and half of the cheese, briefly bring to the boil, simmer until the cheese has melted creamy. Then season it heartily with stock powder, black pepper and sweet paprika. Finally stir in the wine.
  4. Spread the sauce over the broccoli and schnitzel and sprinkle with the rest of the cheese. Baked in a preheated oven at approx. 175 degrees for approx. 35 - 40 minutes until the cheese browns slightly.
  5. Tastes best with spaetzle or French fries.
  6. A few cherry tomatoes spread between the broccoli also taste super delicious.
