Ingredients

  • 150 g oatmeal
  • 60 g walnuts
  • 50 g suar, brown
  • 25 g honey
  • 40 g rapeseed oil
  • 25 g sesame seeds
  • 25 g sunflower seeds
  • Desiccated coconut

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top / bottom heat. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roughly chop walnuts and place in a large bowl. Add the oat flakes, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds and desiccated coca. If you want, you can also add a pinch of salt.
  3. Carefully heat the oil in a saucepan, add honey and brown sugar and bring to the boil. If you want, you can use just honey or just brown sugar. Or use maple syrup and agave syrup instead.
  4. Pour the sugar-oil mixture into the bowl with the remaining ingredients and stir well.
  5. Now spread the finished mixture thinly on the baking paper and place in the oven for about 10 minutes. Then mix again and place in the oven for another 10 minutes. Depending on your taste, you can leave it in the oven a little longer at this point.
  6. Let the granola cool down well. It can now be kept tightly closed in a plastic box or glass for approx. 2 - 3 weeks.
  7. Tip: The granola tastes particularly good with yoghurt and fruit.
