  • 500 g asparaus, white or reen
  • 1 liter water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (n)

Instructions

  1. Bring a saucepan with 1 liter of water to the boil, add the sugar, salt and lemon juice to the boiling water. Add the asparagus and lower the temperature.
  2. The white asparagus (peeled) should simmer for about 13 minutes and the green (not peeled) for 5 minutes.
