Ingredients

  • 4 thin schnitzel (pork, veal or turkey)
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 large onions, cut into thin rings
  • 2 large cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon chives, cut into fine rolls
  • 4 large egg (s)

Instructions

  1. Knock the schnitzel flat and season with salt and pepper. Fry in 1 tablespoon butter in a pan.
  2. Roast the onion rings in a second pan with 2 tablespoons of butter, then add the garlic. Season with salt and pepper, mix in the chives.
  3. Take the finished schnitzel out of the pan and keep warm. Layer the onions on top.
  4. Fry the eggs in the remaining butter to make fried eggs, season with salt and pepper and serve on the schnitzel with the fried onions.
