French Salad with Onion and Apple

  • 1 medium sized onions
  • 1 small sweet apple
  • 1 boiled egg
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 30-40 grams grated cheese


  • Peel the onion, cut into thin rings. Boil water, turn off and dip the onion in it for 15 minutes. Drain the water, season the onion with 1 spoonful of mayonnaise and put it in the 1st layer.
  • Remove the peel from the apple, grate on a coarse grater and put it on the second layer of lettuce.
  • Finely grate the boiled egg, mix with 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise and put the third layer of salad on it.
  • The fourth layer is grated cheese. Lay it out neatly, not crushing, at least 1 cm thick.
  • Put the salad in the refrigerator for 2 hours to soak. Cover it with plastic wrap to keep the cheese dry.
  • Before serving, you can decorate with herbs and it will be very tasty.
