Yeast Dough Bread with Beer

Homemade bread, another delicious option! This popular recipe is called “crocodile bread”! Incredibly aromatic and tasty bread made from yeast dough on beer!

Ingredients

  • Flour – 500 g + for working with dough and preparing a baking sheet
  • Dark beer – 150 ml
  • Warm water – 270 ml
  • Pressed yeast – 18  g of dry yeast – 6 g
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon (15 g)
  • Vegetable oil – for greasing baking sheets and bread

Directions

  1. One batch will need a little more than half a glass of dark beer. All other products are the most common.
  2. Mix all the ingredients (except for vegetable oil) in one cup and knead the dough. Our task is to simply collect the dough into a lump. The dough for this bread is quite liquid. Leave the dough for 10 minutes.
  3. Next, it is better to knead the bread with a mixer (or in a bread maker) using the “hook” attachment (in time – 10 minutes). Or be patient and knead the dough with a wooden spoon for about 15 minutes. No more flour!
  4. Cover the dough with cling film and let it ferment well, come up. In a warm place, it will take about 2 hours. The dough should double to three times.
  5. Slightly knead the dough that comes up, dust the table a little with flour, and divide it into two parts. After each “operation” we give the dough a little rest.
  6. We form the bread and put it on a prepared baking sheet (greased with butter and sprinkled with flour). Lubricate the bread with vegetable oil, cover with cling film and leave to proof for 30-40 minutes, let it rise.
  7. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Sprinkle the bread blanks with water and put them in a preheated oven. We bake bread on beer for 10-15 minutes (focus on your oven). It is better not to open the oven right away, but let the bread stand in the off oven for 10 minutes.
  8. It turns out very tasty bread, try it for health!
