Put on the pot for pasta and cook the pasta according to the instructions.
Peel the garlic and press in a mortar. Wash the basil leaves and pat dry with a tea towel. Then in the mortar. Parmesan and chilli are now also in the mortar, pound everything into a paste and slowly add the oil. Now mix the cream, egg and the rest of the ingredients together. Season to taste with pepper.
Just before the pasta is done, heat a large pan with a little olive oil. Sear the bacon cubes. Strain the pasta and collect some of the cooking water. Put the pasta in the pan with a little of the cooking water. Now pour the sauce over it. Mix everything together over medium heat until the sauce is nice and creamy.
