- Cut the vegetables into small cubes. Mix the bell pepper, onion and Chinese cabbage together and let it steep for a day in the refrigerator.
- The next day, fry the ham cubes in the pan and let them cool down. Fold the peas and mayonnaise into the salad, then add the diced ham at the end.
- Season to taste with salt and freshly ground pepper. The lettuce seems a little too thick at first - but that comes later! Do not dilute!
