Heat millet, water, milk, crushed apples, butter, cinnamon and, if you like, 1 spoonful of sugar in a saucepan. Bring everything to the boil and chop it up with the hand blender until it has a creamy consistency.
As soon as bubbles form when boiling, you can pull the pot off the stove so that nothing burns. Now add the almonds and the finely chopped dates.
When the purée has cooled, it is ready to eat! Can also be prepared the evening before for breakfast the next day.
