Melt the margarine in a coated pan. Add the flour and work into a dough, stirring constantly. Possibly add a little more fat if the mixture is too dry. Fry lightly for about five minutes at medium temperature until it smells nutty. Mix the water with the sugar, add and fry for another five minutes, stirring the dough together and poking it until it is crumbly so that the dough divides.
Then mix in some ground cardamom and let it sit for another ten minutes with the lid closed with a cloth.
Garnish with a little cardamom when serving.
It is best to eat it with white bread and drink black tea with it.
