Whip the cream, sweeten with the vanilla sugar to taste. Don`t use too much sugar, because the powdered drink is already very sweet. At the same time as whipping the cream, heat the milk and stir in the cocoa powder and peppermint liqueur. Pour the liquid into cups and serve hot with a thick whipped cream top.
This quick version of the drink becomes more chocolatier when you dissolve a bar of dark chocolate in the hot milk. It can also be prepared a little more laboriously and time-consuming with slightly de-oiled cocoa powder and sugar.
