Cut the peppers into small pieces. Peel the tomatoes and cut into quarters. Dice the onions. Core the chili peppers and cut into small pieces. Chop the garlic into small pieces.
Mix all ingredients in a saucepan and cook until the liquid has almost evaporated. Possibly puree with a hand blender. Fill the finished ajvar into small sterile jars.
From this you get 3 1/2 small glasses (former sausage glasses).
