Instructions

  1. Make a broth from the 1/2 chicken, the soup meat and any other ingredients. Let the meat cool down. Cut only the lean chicken and soup meat and the slices of toast into small cubes, then mix well with all the ingredients. Form an oval shape and place on a cloth. Carefully wrap the minced meat with the cloth and tie it carefully and tightly with a string.
  2. Bring the broth to the boil again and add the wrapped meatloaf. Simmer on a very low heat for about 40 minutes. Turn off the stove and let the package steep for another 20 minutes.
  3. Cut the meat into slices and serve immediately with a sauce of your choice. A green sauce or a hearty onion sauce with fried potatoes, for example, would go well with this.
