In a saucepan, bring the milk, sugar, lemon zest and cinnamon sticks to the boil. Then add the vermicelli and cook for 3 - 5 minutes. Remove the saucepan from the heat, add the egg yolks and stir. Then add the butter.
Remove the cinnamon sticks and the lemon peel and pour the pasta mixture into a mold or into several small dessert bowls. Let the dessert cool, then decorate with cinnamon.
