Instructions
- Rinse the trout under cold water and pat dry completely.
- Season the trout inside and out generously with salt and pepper.
- Place the flour on one plate and the almond flakes on another plate.
- Coat each trout in flour, shaking off the excess.
- Press each floured trout into the almond flakes so they adhere well.
- Heat the oil in a large pan over medium-high heat for about 2 minutes until it shimmers.
- Place the trout in the pan and fry for 4-5 minutes on the first side, then flip and fry for another 4-5 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the fish cooks, add the butter cut into small pieces and let it melt and brown slightly in the pan.
- Arrange the trout on a serving plate and top with lemon slices.
- Serve with boiled potatoes or jacket potatoes.
