This breakfast is ready in less than five minutes, fills you up and is also healthy and tasty. It is also vegan if you use a plant-based milk.
Bring the milk to a boil in a saucepan, then immediately remove the saucepan from the stove and stir in the amaranth. At this point you can also stir in the agave syrup or the other sweetness, if you want. Then your porridge actually already has this typical mushy, creamy consistency. Then you leave the whole thing covered for about 2 minutes on the switched off stove.
Meanwhile, if you`re using one that requires this step, you can snip your fruit.
Now you fill your still warm porridge in a bowl, top it with the fruit, nuts and any other toppings of your choice and you can enjoy your warm breakfast!
Good Appetite!
Tip: I like to use oat or almond milk because they have a natural sweetness and you don`t have to add sweetening.
