Instructions

  1. The unit of measure cups means coffee cups, not mugs.
  2. First put the mineral water and the amaretto in a cup together. It is important that the mixture together makes a cup. So if you like it milder, take less amaretto and more water.
  3. Mix all the dough ingredients together. Place the dough in the hollows of a muffin tray lined with paper liners and bake at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes.
  4. After baking, remove the muffins with their paper cases from the muffin tin relatively early so that they cool down quickly.
  5. For the topping, mix the powdered sugar and the amaretto together. Depending on how the consistency develops, add a little powdered sugar or amaretto if necessary. The casting should be viscous and not too thin. Put on the muffins quickly, because the topping hardens relatively quickly.
  6. For the chocolate decoration, make a cut in the middle of the muffins with a sharp knife. Then insert an ornament into each cut.
