Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 ° C (gas stove: level 5).
  2. Mix the butter with the eggs, white and brown sugar and vanilla sugar with a hand mixer until foamy, then add the flour, baking powder and salt and work everything into a smooth dough.
  3. For chocolate cookies, simply melt dark chocolate (for the entire dough, best 200 to 250 grams) and mix well with the dough, then stir in chopped nuts or chocolate pieces etc. as desired (it is best to create a maximum of three types, results in nine per type large cookies). From experience, the chocolate dough becomes a bit crumbly and these cookies also look different, but of course they don`t affect the taste.
  4. Place small heaps with two tablespoons on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Caution: leave enough space between the piles of dough (a maximum of nine piles per tray)! Bake for 8-10 minutes. The cookies must still be soft in the middle; they harden when they cool down.
  5. It is best to enjoy it warm, but be careful: risk of stomach pain!
