Instructions

  1. Put whole wheat flour, flour and baking powder (if necessary, baking powder and baking soda mixed) in a bowl.
  2. In another bowl, stir in the margarine, brown sugar and honey until foamy, then stir in the flour mixture with the milk and vanilla extract or vanilla sugar. Cover and refrigerate overnight or for 8 hours.
  3. The next day (or after 8 hours) preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Divide the dough into quarters and roll out a quarter of each on a floured surface measuring approx. 12 x 37 cm. Then cut these plates into small rectangles and place on a baking sheet. If necessary, sprinkle with a cinnamon-sugar mixture and then bake for 13 to 15 minutes. Then leave to cool on a wire rack.
