Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente and drain into a large salad bowl.
  2. Finely chop the onions and sauté briefly in a pan. Add the minced meat and fry until brown and crumbly. Make a paste from tomato paste, ketchup, mustard, horseradish, pressed garlic, Worcester sauce and spices. Mix these well with the minced meat and sauté.
  3. Mix the minced meat with the noodles and let cool.
  4. In the meantime, prepare the croutinos for the garnish. To do this, just roughly dab the pan that has already been used with a kitchen towel, spread the sunflower oil in it and let it get nice and hot on the stove. Cut the toast into approx. 1 cm cubes, finely chop the nuts and fry together with the seeds until the bread is browned and crispy. Keep the finished croutinos in a separate container (lined with kitchen paper) until just before serving, otherwise they will get mushy.
  5. When the pasta and minced meat have cooled down, cut the cocktail tomatoes in half, dice the pickles and fold them into the salad along with the corn and cheese.
  6. For the dressing, beat the buttermilk until frothy and mix with natural yogurt, sour cream, onion powder, garlic and herbs. Mix well with the pasta salad about 2 - 3 hours before serving.
  7. At the very end, add the croutinos.
