Mix all ingredients for the batter, bake in a greased loaf pan for about 1 hour at 190 degrees, then cover with the glaze and sprinkle with the chopped nuts.
I love this cake! The bananas make it wonderfully juicy. I bake it like this or similar in all possible variations, also as a spice cake for Christmas.
A little tip for chopping the banana chips and nuts: I put them in a freezer bag and then hit them vigorously with a frying pan.
