Clean and quarter the strawberries and put them in a saucepan. Add sugar and water and puree (depending on your taste, you can either puree it very finely or leave small pieces in). Then briefly bring the puree to the boil on the stove and let it cool down again.
Mix with lemon juice and vodka and let steep for about 2 hours. Then fill into prepared bottles.
The result is about 2.5 liters of delicious strawberry lime, which can be kept in the refrigerator for about 10 weeks.
