Sieve the flour into a bowl, make a well. Crumble the yeast in the well, add the sugar.
Mix 4 tablespoons of milk and 200 ml of warm water, pour into the well, stirring with the yeast. Cover and let rise for approx. 10 minutes.
Add salt, 1 beaten egg and butter, knead everything well with the dough hook of the hand mixer for approx. 5 minutes. Cover and let rise in a warm place for approx. 1 hour.
Place the dough on the floured work surface, divide into 10 - 12 portions and roll into balls. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, press flat. Cover and let rise for approx. 45 minutes.
Whisk 1 egg with 2 tablespoons of water and 2 tablespoons of milk. Brush the balls with it, sprinkle with sesame seeds and caraway seeds as desired. Bake in a hot oven at 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes (when they turn lightly brown, they`re done).
